Merdeka Gold

Merdeka Gold (Ticker: 6228 HK) is a company that explores and develops gold deposits, then mines and produces gold for sale. Its principal asset is the Pani Gold Mine in Gorontalo, Indonesia. The mine achieved first gold production in February 2026 and made its first gold sale in March 2026. Pani reported mineral resources of 7.0 million ounces of gold and ore reserves of 5.2 million ounces. Merdeka Copper Gold is Merdeka Gold’s majority owner; it is an Indonesian mining group listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Each Hong Kong depositary receipt represents 10 underlying shares, and a 15% greenshoe option covers about 13.45 million depositary receipts.
