About the index
The IPOX® High Dividend 7% Strategy (DIVI) focuses on dividend-paying companies within the global IPOX® universe. It combines the new listings approach with an income objective, covering eligible IPOs, spin-offs, direct listings, de-SPACs and companies involved in IPO-related acquisitions.
An income focus within new listings
Newly public companies differ in how they use capital and return cash to shareholders. The strategy focuses on companies offering dividend income within this changing universe, bringing a distinct income perspective to IPOX® company selection.
The 7% figure is a dividend-yield target. Realized yield varies with dividends, share prices and portfolio composition. Dividend yield and total return also describe different aspects of an investment: total return incorporates both cash distributions and changes in capital value.
Portfolio selection and maintenance
Selection brings together the IPOX® eligible company universe and the strategy's dividend focus. The portfolio is rebalanced quarterly to review holdings and weights as company circumstances, valuations and the available universe change.
The geographic and industry mix follows the companies selected under the strategy, rather than a permanent allocation to a fixed set of sectors.
