About the index
The IPOX® Global 50 Index (IPGL50) follows 50 leading newly public companies from across global equity markets. It draws from the IPOX® Global Composite Index, combining company size and trading liquidity with the methodology's exposure criteria.
A global view of new listings
The portfolio brings together businesses that have entered public markets through IPOs and spin-offs. A global selection universe allows companies from different regions to be considered within a common framework, rather than assigning a fixed allocation to each country.
The resulting mix of countries and industries reflects the eligible companies available at each review. New listing activity, changes in market capitalization and corporate actions can all alter that composition over time.
Selection and portfolio maintenance
Companies are ranked by market capitalization and screened against the index's liquidity and exposure requirements. Market capitalization weighting links a company's influence on the portfolio to its size, subject to the methodology's applicable limits.
The index is rebalanced quarterly. These reviews refresh the selection and weights as the global new listings universe develops.
Using the benchmark
IPGL50 provides a concentrated reference for following large, liquid new listings across regions. It can support global equity research, portfolio comparisons and licensed investment products.
The dated fact sheet provides index statistics and performance. Complete eligibility, weighting and maintenance provisions are available through Rulebook & Regulations. For regional coverage, see the IPOX® 100 U.S. Index and IPOX® International Index.
