Gens Aurea SpA (Ticker: Pending) is an Italian company operating in the cash-for-gold, jewelry retail, investment gold and buy-back markets. The group operates more than 530 stores across Europe through brands including OroCash, OroCaja, GioiaPura, Luxury Zone and OroCash Invest, with a leading position in Italy and Spain and operations also in Portugal, Austria and Switzerland.
Gens Aurea plans to list on Euronext Milan on or around July 14, 2026. According to published terms, the IPO consists of a private placement to institutional investors of 10.1 million existing shares held by Mattina Holding SA, the holding company linked to DVC Partners, at €10.00 per share. Including the greenshoe option of up to 1.01 million additional shares, the offer size is approximately €111 million, or about $127 million. The expected market capitalization at the offer price is about €1.01 billion, or around $1.2 billion.
As the offering is reportedly entirely secondary, proceeds are expected to go to the selling shareholder rather than the company. BNP Paribas, Jefferies, UniCredit, Banca Akros and Alantra are among the offering managers.
