The IPO comprised 47.08 million common shares priced at C$6.90 each, including 18.85 million primary shares and 28.23 million secondary shares, raising approximately C$325 million. The company also sold 6.3 million flow-through shares at C$9.52 each, bringing total gross proceeds for Cadillac and the selling shareholders to approximately C$385 million, or $273 million. Cadillac’s market capitalization at the offer price was approximately C$1.62 billion, equivalent to around $1.1 billion.
Agnico Eagle Mines agreed to purchase approximately 8.7 million shares for C$60 million through a concurrent private placement, increasing its ownership stake to about 11%. BMO Nesbitt Burns, National Bank Financial and Stifel Nicolaus Canada led the offering.
