Reuters: IPOX® CEO Josef Schuster Comments on Quantinuum’s U.S. IPO Filing and Quantum Market Demand

Reuters reported that Quantinuum, the quantum computing company majority owned by Honeywell, publicly filed for a U.S. IPO, moving it closer to a Nasdaq listing under the symbol QNT. The Broomfield, Colorado-based company reported revenue of $30.9 million for the year ended December 31, up from $23 million a year earlier, while its net loss increased to $192.6 million.

The article connected Quantinuum’s filing to the reopened U.S. IPO window, citing renewed issuer activity, pent-up demand for new listings, and investor interest in companies linked to quantum technology. Reuters noted that Quantinuum was formed in 2021 through the combination of Honeywell’s quantum computing division and Cambridge Quantum, and that the company has invested more than $2 billion in research and development over the last decade.
